Description - Your Role

  • Validate results for accuracy, identify and rectify errors, and ensure lab instruments receive proper maintenance and calibration.
  • Support specimen collection and assist in preparing samples for testing as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures, train new team members or students, and ensure adherence to the highest quality standards within the lab.
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety in the work environment, fully complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.
Education
  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree from an allied health field along with preparation for the ASCP/AMT certification.
Certifications
  • Achieve the ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
  • Maintain active certification throughout employment tenure.
