Job description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Lab Investigator to join our growing team in Mississauga.  The Lab Investigator is responsible for generating and closing all the investigations IAFs and NCRs in QTS lab. In charge with initiating, follow up and closing the CAPA plan as part of the investigations.

Pay Range: (CAD) $29-$35hr DOE

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and coordinate the entire activity related to investigation IAFs, NCRs and CCs in QTS lab
  • Issue the IAF form, NCR form and CC form in QTS lab whenever required
  • Schedule and plan with QA closing sessions for IAFs, NSRs and CCs to ensure the due dates for closing or sample releasing are not impacted
  • Inform clients and keep a close communication with clients about the status of the investigation
  • Write/review investigation plan and investigation reports whenever required as per Element policy
  • In charge with the annual SOP review in QTS lab
  • Finalize/review the SOPs required to be updated
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned as well as working on evenings or week-ends as required
Skills / Qualifications
  • A University degree (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Minimum five years experience in a pharmaceutical (preferable) laboratory
  • Familiarity with computer programs such as Word, and Excel
