    Job Description:

    Employment Terms:This is atemporary, non-benefited FLSA Non-exemptposition in the Student Affairs Division that reports to the Coordinator of Assessment Services.This position will be assigned to theAlpharetta-North Fulton Campus.

    Salary:$17.68/hour

    Schedule: 19hours per weekwithinthe following testing center's operational hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am-5pm; Tuesday 12:00pm-8:00pm; Friday 8-4pm. Flexibility isa must.

    Minimum Qualifications (Job Code T6002):Associatedegree.

    Preferred Qualifications: Candidatesshould have experience in Student Services, testing lab administration, or proctoring. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, along with experience working with diverse student populations. Exceptional customer service and analytical skills arerequired, as well as computer and organizational skills to manage student record systems.Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite products is also necessary.

    Successful candidates should possess: (1) knowledge ofstudent services(2) excellent customer service skills; (3) familiarity with computer-based testing; (4) computer skills andaptitudeto administer ACCUPLACER and national certification tests; (5) ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, (6) ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines; (7) ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities; (8) ability to accurately document and maintain student records.

    Under general supervision ofAssessment Coordinator,thePart-TestingSpecialistis responsible for (1)supportingthe daily operation of lab testing functions inthe Assessment Center, including front desk responsibilities; (2) providingAccuplacerandSpecialtytesting services to customers; (3)ensuring safe, secure, and supportive environment while remaining in compliance with the nationally recognized NCTA (National College Testing Association) Professional Standards and Guidelines.

    • Testing Lab Administration (60%)

    • Testing Lab Operation (20%)

    • Advisement Duties (5%)
