Job description


A large chemical supply company is seeking a Lab Technician for a full-time opportunity. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
  • Partially set-up and mix compounds to predetermined specifications
  • Read and interpret specification sheets
  • Set up and maintain production pace while setting up and weighing oils required to run each compound
  • Document all material and compound traceability requirements
  • Perform pre-shift set-ups
  • Occasionally use lift truck and face masks
  • Consistent heavy lifting, occasionally exceeding 50 pounds
  • Keep work area clean and safe

Job Requirements
Requirements:
  • Must have previous Lab Technician experience with the ability to set-up and mix compounds
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret specification sheets
  • Must be able to document all material and compound traceability requirements
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced dirty, dusty, and noisy environment while standing all day
  • Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
  • Must have steel toed boots; uniforms will be provided
  • Must be able to perform consistent heavy lifting, exceeding 50 pounds

Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Factory or manufacturing experience is preferred, but company is willing to train.
