Job Responsibilities: Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Operate radiology equipment to capture images of the cardiovascular system, following physician instructions and adhering to safety protocols. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, obtaining informed consent, and positioning them correctly on the examination table. Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures, recognizing and responding to any changes in condition. Assist physicians by passing instruments, catheters, and other devices during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment. Administer contrast media as required, ensuring accurate imaging results while monitoring for any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, including patient data, imaging results, and any complications encountered. Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance checks on Cath Lab equipment to ensure it is functioning properly. Adhere to radiation safety standards and use protective measures to minimize exposure for patients, staff, and self.
