Job Description:

We are seeking a motivatedEngineering Internto supportbench validation and characterization of power semiconductor devices. This role offers hands-on experience working with real hardware, laboratory test setups, and engineering data used in the development and qualification of power devices. The intern will work closely with experienced engineers in a lab environment and gain exposure to industry-standard validation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist inbench validation and characterizationof power semiconductor devices (e.g., MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, wide bandgap devices).
  • Set up and operatelaboratory test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, function generators, and thermal measurement tools.
  • Supportelectrical and thermal testing, such as:
    • Static and dynamic device measurements
    • Switching performance evaluation
    • Efficiency and loss measurements
    • SOA and reliability-related tests
  • Collect, organize, and analyze test data; assist ingenerating test reports and documentation.
  • Help maintain lab organization, test fixtures, and validation hardware.
  • Follow establishedtest procedures, safety guidelines, and ESD practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot test issues and improve bench setups.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing aBachelor's or Master's degreein:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Power Electronics
    • Electronics Engineering
    • or a related field
  • Basic understanding ofelectrical circuits and semiconductor devices.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.
  • Ability to work methodically, document results clearly, and follow test procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a hands-on lab environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework or experience inpower electronics or power semiconductor devices.
  • Exposure toMOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, or GaN devices.
  • Experience withbench testing, hardware debugging, or lab-based projects.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such asExcel, MATLAB, Python, or similar.
  • Understanding of basicelectrical safety and ESD practices.
