Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30), with on-call requirement of 8-10 shifts per month, including weekend coverage.
Job Description
The Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech will work in a Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Facility. The role involves performing procedures such as pediatric/adult transplant, R/L biopsy, balloon, stent, and valve placement, with a preference for pediatric interventional radiology cases. A total of two cath lab rooms are utilized.
Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac stent placements and diagnostic catheterizations for both adults and pediatric/neonatal patients.
  • Conduct percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) as needed.
  • Participate in on-call duties and work collaboratively within a team setting.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a Pediatric Cath Lab or Level I Trauma Center.
  • PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required (must be from the American Heart Association).
  • CCI with RCIS/RCES is preferred, but ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) is acceptable.
  • Radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency.
  • South Carolina RN license is preferred; applicants with a pending license will be considered if proof of application is provided.
