Job Title: Lab Tech Aide – 3rd Shift
Location: Altavista, VA – 24517
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
 

Job Description:
We are seeking a Lab Tech Aide to join our team on 3rd shift. The Lab Tech Aide is responsible for performing routine laboratory support tasks to assist laboratory technicians and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lab materials, samples, and equipment for testing procedures.

  • Perform sample labeling, sorting, and tracking according to established protocols.

  • Assist in maintaining lab cleanliness and organization, including cleaning equipment and work areas.

  • Record and input data accurately into lab information systems or logs.

  • Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently.

  • Support lab technicians with routine tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to work overnight (11 PM – 7:30 AM).

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with lab equipment preferred.
