Cath Lab Tech

Location: Gallatin, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days with On Call 7ON/7OFF, Shift: 07:00-15:30

Job Description: The Cath Lab Tech will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The position involves preparing patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Scrubbing for a variety of cardiac procedures including catheters and pacemakers.
  • Monitoring cases and assisting in patient workup and recovery.
  • Transporting patients as needed and stocking department supplies.
  • Collaboration with the cardiovascular team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent.
  • RCIS Certification or RT degree required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Must pass the Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start date.
