Job description

Lab Technician

Shift: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Pay: $19-21/hr depending on experience

Location: Ada, MI (Greater Grand Rapids Area)


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Prepare samples, solutions, and reagents according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, spectrophotometers, HPLC, and other analytical instruments
  • Accurately document test results and maintain detailed lab records
  • Assist with method validation, stability testing, and product evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and internal quality standards
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
  • Communicate test results and findings to supervisors and cross-functional teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the lab
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of laboratory experience (internships or academic lab experience considered)
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP standards preferred
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
Physical Requirements
