Job Summary:
The Coop Technician will support MACOM's engineering, operations, or lab teams with handson technical tasks, testing, documentation, and daytoday project support. This role is ideal for students pursuing engineering or technical degrees who want practical, realworld experience in an RF, semiconductor, or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of lab or production equipment
Support engineers and technicians in performing tests, measurements, and experiments
Collect, record, and organize data for analysis and reporting
Prepare documentation, test logs, and simple technical summaries
Maintain lab or production areas by organizing tools, supplies, and equipment
Perform routine calibration checks and follow established test procedures (SOPs)
Assist with assembly, inspection, or basic validation tasks, depending on the team
Follow all MACOM safety, ESD, and cleanroom guidelines (where applicable)
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and participate in project work as assigned
