Responsibilities

You will oversee staffing and workflow based on patient care needs, available resources, and staff competencies. Responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, and evaluating staff; supporting training and professional development; and promoting continuous quality improvement. You will coordinate laboratory policies and programs, foster effective communication and interdepartmental collaboration, and support budget planning and fiscal responsibility. As a leader and resource to the team, you will provide guidance, promote accountability and teamwork, and support a culture of professional growth while performing duties within the scope of applicable policies, regulations, and California law.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or Medical Technology required
