Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time Clinical Services, Specimen Processor working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location, with a start date of June 1, 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Specimen Processor

This position is responsible for triaging, prioritizing, and sorting clinical specimens appropriately for accessioning and processing in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. Performs accurate data entry and login of specimen-related details while accessioning samples into the laboratory information system according to established protocols with minimal errors. Scans requisitions and all related documentation to ensure complete and accurate specimen records. Evaluates the needs of internal and external clients to provide high-quality customer service and operational support as needed and defined by those to whom the position reports. Adheres to and ensures compliance with the Company's policies, applicable standard operating procedures, and quality standards at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the laboratory field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year lab accessioning experience preferred; previous experience in health care/lab, or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
