Join Ampla Health as a Certified Medical Assistant, supporting providers in delivering efficient, compassionate care. As a vital member of the care team, you will assist patients, coordinate medical services, and help maintain clinic workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room patients, take vitals, and document in EHR
  • Perform lab specimen collection and administer medications or immunizations per protocols
  • Assist with prescription refills, referrals, and patient follow-up
  • Support clinicians in care plan development and order entry (as directed)
  • Sterilize equipment, maintain exam room readiness, and uphold infection control standards
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and team meetings
  • Flexibility to float between clinic sites if needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of Medical Assistant training program
  • Active Medical Assistant Certification & CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, and move quickly
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and airborne diseases may occur

2) Completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program

4) Current CPR certification required

6) Neatness and accuracy in performing tasks
7) Ability to use discretion in situations dealing with confidential patient health information

9) Familiarity with primary care outpatient clinic procedure (desirable)
10) Demonstrate clear knowledge of Ampla Health's clinic structure, standards, procedures and protocols

COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS:
