Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Analytical Lab Technician to support manufacturing operations and improve process performance. This role works within production analytics area processing production samples, QC samples as well as maintaining instruments and running optimal performance checks. This position reports to Analytical Scientist I.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dailly, weekly and periodic maintenance of analytical instruments and equipment
  • Running performance checks and maintaining logs for accuracy
  • Comply with all documentation requirements regarding processing GMPs safety, housekeeping, and sanitation. Performs all work in compliance with company Safety Health and Environmental guidelines
  • Analysis of Raw Materials, In-Process batch samples, Finished Product and other duties as assigned.
  • Performs qualitative and quantitative analyses in a Food GMP regulated environment, including calibration and documentation.
  • Participate in Corrective Action Investigation teams and internal audits across site.
  • Work includes night shifts, weekends and holidays as per production demands and other times as necessary on short notice.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. in Chemistry, Biology or related science or High School Diploma with 3 years of laboratory experience
  • At least one year of experience in manufacturing, biotech, or chemical processing plant is preferred
  • Experience with biological samples and pipetting skills is preferred
  • Experience working in a production environment preferred
  • Recent graduates are considered and encouraged to apply
