We need a Medical assistant to rotate the front desk to a person that can be able to travel at least twice a week between offices with reliable transportation to get on time to work.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS
check and log vaccine temperatures Daily.
· Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations.
· Performs and records QC and Calibration on Machines and equipment if needed.
· Cleans treatment rooms following patient examinations. and take the trash out at the end of the day.
· Interview patients to obtain their medical history. medication and record allergies
· Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files. (EHR)
· Call or send prescriptions after approval from the provider.
· Receive and scan medical and lab records to the patient's chart follow up on lab results every 3 days and scan on the chart.
· Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks, and POC testing.
· Draws blood, removes sutures, and changes dressings. administer Vaccines and keep records in the patient’s chart.
· Stock rooms and maintain supplies and equipment clean and each room.
· Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments.
· Properly disposes of contaminated supplies.
· Assists physicians during examinations and Procedures by handing over instruments and materials.
· Trained and guided new hires or students.
· FRONT Desk DUTIES
· Print filed and fill WIC forms, school forms, absent forms, and nebulizer treatment forms.
· Answering phone inquiries and book an appointment
· Make sure to prepare a supplied list for ordering and vaccine count monthly.
· Make sure to keep each room and waiting room neat and organized.
· Provide patients information and explanations when required by providers.
· Book appointments, collect co-pays, check insurance eligibility, prepared paperwork, make copies, etc...
· Call reminders for next-day appointments. follow HIPPA POLICY rules and prepare paperwork.

Job Qualifications
· Education: high school graduate
· Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Licenses/Certifications: CPR and first aid certification required; certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred.
