Do you enjoy being part of a small, supportive team where your contributions are recognized and make a difference every day? Join us as a Clinical Lab Technician I and help power the science behind advancing clinical research.
Why You'll Love This Role:
  • Make a real impact: Play an essential role in performing and supporting laboratory procedures that directly contribute to the success and integrity of clinical studies. Your precision and quality of work help advance important medical research and improve patient outcomes.
  • Grow your expertise: Receive comprehensive training and mentorship in specialized lab techniques and regulatory standards. You'll gain hands-on experience and have opportunities to develop new skills in a highly specialized clinical research environment.

Why Clinical Research Is Exciting:
Working in clinical research is different from a traditional clinical lab role - and that's what makes it so rewarding.
  • You're part of innovation: Instead of running routine diagnostic tests, you'll help support the development of new drugs, devices, and therapies that could change how diseases are treated.
  • Every study brings something new: Each project introduces different sample types, testing methods, and scientific approaches, keeping your work dynamic and engaging.
  • You generate original data: The results you produce help determine whether new treatments move forward - your accuracy and attention to detail directly influence medical progress.
  • You see the bigger picture: Clinical research connects the science of the lab to the care of real patients, giving you a sense of purpose and impact that extends far beyond the bench.

In short, while a traditional clinical lab ensures accurate diagnosis today, clinical research helps discover the treatments and cures of tomorrow!
What You'll Do:
  • Perform laboratory tasks in accordance with study protocols-such as urine drug screens, dipsticks, pregnancy tests, and equipment setup.
  • Conduct specialized laboratory procedures within your certified area of expertise.
  • Use accurate pipetting techniques to collect, process, and prepare pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and diagnostic samples.
  • Prepare and dispense buffer solutions for special studies.
  • Ship biological samples according to laboratory schedules and temperature requirements.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and monitor laboratory equipment.
  • Manage supply inventory to support all study activities.
  • Provide excellent communication and collaboration with internal teams and study participants.
  • Support additional clinical duties as assigned.

  • Strong communicator: You're bilingual in English and Spanish and communicate clearly across systems and teams.
  • Hands-on and energetic: You enjoy being actively engaged and on your feet during your shift.

What You'll Bring:
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Assistant (AMT), Laboratory Technologist, or Phlebotomist
  • Prior laboratory experience required.
  • Demonstrated pipetting proficiency and comfort handling biological samples.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) - fluent in English reading, writing, and communication; conversational Spanish required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and clinical software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a regulatory or clinical research environment preferred.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, nights, and occasional day shifts based on study needs.

Why You'll Thrive Here:
