Job Description We are seeking a Data Operations Technician to join our Product Data Operations team supporting Robotics Studio projects in Burlingame and Redmond. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hands-on AR/VR or robotics environments, scaled data collection, annotation, and QA and a proven ability to execute protocol-driven data generation and validation with accuracy and consistency. Responsibilities: Operate and set up prototype robotics and XR devices (e.g., Quest 3) to collect high-quality datasets in lab and simulated environments.

Follow detailed protocols to perform complex data collection tasks and ensure consistency and accuracy. Annotate, label, and review collected data using internal tools and platforms. Execute initial quality checks, validate data for completeness, and flag issues for follow-up.

Collaborate with team members and project leads to plan, orchestrate, and optimize data collection sessions. Document procedures, issues, and findings in a clear and timely manner. Adhere to safety, privacy, confidentiality, and operational guidelines in all lab activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in hands-on technical environments with AR/VR devices, robotics, or similar systems. Scaled data collection experience supporting physical device research teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex, well-documented protocols.

Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and focus. Proficiency with computers, including running Python scripts and using data entry or annotation tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, onsite team environment.

Preferred Skills: Experience troubleshooting and documenting technical errors. Intermediate Python and Bash scripting experience. Prototest or prototype lab environment experience.
