Job description

Federal Work Study - Lab Assistants

ECU Department of Biology is currently seeking several Lab Assistants to help set up and maintain materials for BIOL1051 and BIOL1101 lab courses. This position will include: washing glassware, caring for small organisms, making solutions. All student employees are required to follow lab specific safety protocols.

Position Title: Federal Work Study - Lab Assistants

Position Location: On-campus

City: Greenville

State: NC

Number of Vacancies: 3

Rate of Pay: $12.00/hourly

GPA Requirement: Minimum of 2.5

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.): This position requires basic science knowledge, organizational skills, working independently, and working in a group setting. All majors accepted. However, science majors such as those listed below are preferred: Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, Environmental Studies, Geography & Geospatial Data Science, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Physics, Psychology
