Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for Diagnostic Rad Tech with Cardiac Cath Lab or IR/Vascular Technician to support the Sacramento VAMC Main Campus located at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm. Position Pays: $75.07- $80/hr

Responsibilities

  • Support the Cardiovascular-Interventional and Electrophysiology labs and perform:

  • Routine diagnostic imaging procedures

  • Interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies

  • Ablation procedures

  • Setup and operation of specialized equipment

  • Administration of contrast media under supervision

  • Patient identification and verification per JCAHO standards

  • Selection of views and techniques for optimal diagnostic effectiveness

  • Verification of patient demographic data for DICOM compatibility

  • Use of computerized systems (Cardiology PACS, Heart Lab, VISTA, CPRS)

  • Continuous assessment of image quality and equipment performance

Qualifications

  • Completion of a full-time post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program (minimum 24 months)

  • Must hold a certificate or associate degree

  • Program must be accredited by JRCERT or other DOE-recognized accrediting bodies

  • Licensure is not explicitly required but credentialing is mandatory

  • Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years

  • Must have computer literacy (CPRS, VISTA, PACS systems)

  • Scrub tech experience, cardiovascular, interventional radiology, or vascular certifications preferred. 

  • Must have experience in Cath Lab, interventional labs and experience with hemodynamics

  • No sponsorship available 

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

  • Lift up to 20 lbs

  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
