Job description

Description: Lab Technician II Responsibilities: Shipping and Receiving Assists Lab Manager in coordinating cleaning and dispenser maintenance during internal and external showcase tours activities while managing own time in his absence. Provide Freestyle Innovation Center associates with coordination information on shipping and receiving packages via Microsoft outlook or in-person. Ability to build and pack engineering equipment for shipment to internal and external customers for Freestyle Associates.

Maintain daily logistical records of all incoming package deliveries while working with Client shipping and receiving team to track associates packages. Ability to be flexible to assist FIC associates in delivering their packages to Client, FedEx, or UPS drop-offs for next-day deliveries. Ability to remember all GEP Associates name and their cubicle numbers to hand delivery their packages daily.

Utilize CBRE software to generate work orders to assist Freestyle Lab Manager in transferring all types of equipment to and from Client facilities. Wastewater treatment and CO2 room. Ability to understand thoroughly industrial wastewater treatment operations and be familiar with the use of chemicals, safety protocols, and the safe operation of equipment.

Assists QA Lab Manager and Consulting Technician on flushing and cleaning all drains lines from each lab leading to wastewater treatment room. Maintain over 12 bacteria buckets weekly to prevent fruit flies and update all water Treatment Room Maintenance Records on a bi-weekly basis. Monitor all wastewater instrumentation indicators and their functions to prevent flooding in laboratories and contact Lab Manager when out of specifications.

Monitor daily the two bulk 750-gallon CO2 tanks for capacity levels and contact Freestyle Lab Managers once reach minimal levels for refill to prevent having no CO2 gas for lab testing. Cafe & Showcase Dispenser Maintenance Responsible for maintenance of all cafe dispensers: Ingredients update, monthly refresh daily cleanliness, and repairs, etc. Responsible for maintenance of all equipment in the showcase room: Ingredients update, monthly refresh, cleanliness, repairs, floors, etc.

Ability to decommission and plumb all types of dispensers equipment without any assistance. Ability to install backroom equipment. Technical Maintenance/Acumen: This person will eventually learn and have the acumen to fullfil the responsibilities below: Support installation and disconnection of equipment Develop the ability to navigate software menus to troubleshoot dispenser issues Over time, independently diagnose and resolve basic technical problems HS Diploma Required: Associates degree good to have in technical backgound and the candidate will stand out with an Associates degree.

Must be a fast learner, ability to work independently, It would be good to have some experience in shipping & receiving and beverage industry but is not a requirement.
