The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the lab of Dr. Luis Montaner. The Montaner laboratory focuses on developing immuno therapy strategies against HIV or cancer. Duties will include lab maintenance (inventory, ordering, lab operations support), murine colony maintenance, murine models, whole blood isolation, flowcytometry, ELISAs, work in BSL-2+ (HIV-infected cell cultures), molecular biology and cell-mediated assays.

A bachelorโ€™s degree in a science-related field (or equivalent) is required. Two year minimum experience working in a laboratory required with experience in murine models, molecular biology, ย and cellular immunology preferred. Position level commensurate with experience.ย
