Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and pulling orders from stock for each department, managing and organizing inventory, and operating warehouse equipment. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment that complies with procedures, rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials
  • Manage and organize inventory
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, stand reach forklift and pallet jack
  • Preserve and maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
  • Prepare supply orders, pulling material and placing supplies/pallet in shipping area
  • Provide quality service by following company standards
  • Work closely with the team and engage with vendors, drivers and other service providers on all items that enter or leave the shipping and receiving department
  • Communicate updates and any potential issues promptly
  • Additional tasks may be assigned at any time by management

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of related experience in shipping, receiving, customer service or inventory control procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication to effectively interact with internal teams
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation
  • Ability to work collaborating within a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Effective prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations
  • Must be detailed oriented, organized, proficient with reading, writing and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in a warehouse setting
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk/computer
  • Capability to lift and carry items (e.g., supplies, product materials) weighing up to 50 pounds, as needed
