What will you do? Make an impact!

As a Technical Services Operations Manager, you'll lead a motivated team of chemists and drivers while managing full P&L responsibility for a service center. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational excellence, and supporting both your team and customers.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations for the service center with full P&L ownership
  • Oversee scheduling of customer work, logistics, and team assignments
  • Manage and develop Field Chemists and Drivers, providing training and support
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and DOT regulations
  • Coordinate purchasing, invoices, and supply management for the facility
  • Collaborate with Sales, Plant Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve technical and operational needs
  • Communicate facility updates and challenges to regional leadership
  • Other duties as assigned
Do you have what it takes?
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred)
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in an operations or service environment
  • 5+ years of industry experience, with lab packing expertise strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT and RCRA regulations is preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience with SAP a plus
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to travel locally up to 50%
