Physician Liaison

Unio Health Partners (UHP) is a highly differentiated physician practice management platform with the goal of transforming care delivery across the Western United States. UHP partners with leading physician practices, creating a cohesive, quality-oriented clinical culture and facilitating best practice sharing across the platform. Our affiliated practices gain access to a broader suite of services, providing a meaningful benefit to both physicians and patients. UHP's best-in-class clinical program covers three sub-specialties (urology, gastroenterology, and radiation oncology) and offers numerous ancillary services, including pathology lab, in-office dispensing, and chronic care management. We are led by a highly accomplished management team and provide a full suite of management services to its affiliated practices. UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California.
Position Summary
Unio Specialty Care seeks an experienced Physician Liaison to develop and expand patient referral networks for our Urology, Gastroenterology, and Radiation Oncology service lines. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic healthcare professional responsible for building and maintaining solid relationships with external healthcare providers, increasing patient referrals, and enhancing the visibility of our specialty services.
Must live in San Fernando Valley as this position will cover 2 areas: San Fernando Valley/Ventura County
What you will be doing
  • Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to target primary care physicians, specialty providers, and healthcare networks
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings with medical practices to educate providers about Unio Specialty Care's unique service offerings
  • Track and analyze referral patterns, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of current and potential referral sources
  • Prepare detailed reports on referral trends, market penetration, and potential new market opportunities
  • Coordinate physician education programs and community health awareness initiatives
  • Represent Unio Specialty Care at medical conferences, community events, and professional networking gatherings
  • Act as a primary point of contact for physician communication and relationship management
What you will bring to the team
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Physician Liaison or similar healthcare business development role
  • Strong understanding of healthcare referral networks and medical practice dynamics
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel throughout the region (approximately 50-75% of the time)
  • Previous experience in urology, gastroenterology, or oncology service lines
  • Demonstrated success in increasing patient referrals and developing new business opportunities
