Job description

Medlivo is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel job in Oxnard, California.

Job Description & Requirements
  • Specialty: Medical Lab Technician
  • Discipline: Allied Health Professional
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours, days
  • Employment Type: Travel

Requirements:
-Active MLT/MLS license, if required by the State of California.
-Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
-Current BLS Certification.
-Recent experience in Microbiology required.
-Experience working in an acute-care hospital laboratory preferred.
-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
-Recent hospital-based Microbiology experience - mandatory
-Strong specimen processing and testing skills
-Familiarity with Cerner
-Experience working day shifts and every-other-weekend schedules
