Job description

Job Summary

The Lab Coordinator manages the scheduling, collection, processing, and reporting of laboratory tests for patients receiving in-home care. He/She acts between in-home nursing staff, patients, external laboratory vendors and physician?s office reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Home Lab Services: Schedule, track, and manage blood draw schedule.

Qualifications

Experience: 1?2 years of clinical lab experience, ideally in a home health setting preferred (not required)

Hands - on training will be provided

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to organize and prioritize job duties and assigned tasks for completion within expected timeframes

Schedule

  • Monday- Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM
  • No weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour, re-evaluation after 3 months of employment
