Role: Lab and Equipment Assistant

Location: Plano, Texas (Onsite)

Description

Responsibilities include:

Inventory:

Equipment coordinator will require to take stock of supply and demand of required hardware, parts, and software.

Follow 4S practices for better management of lab equipment, including inventory and labeling of assets.

Manage inventory system to make sure the information is updated

Create and update user guide for multiple equipment.

Support Phone Setup, Apple ID & account tracking.

HW retirement support for previous generations.

Ordering/Procurement:

Procuring or working with Asset Management team to procure small items such as cables, antennas, connector pins, USB cables, cameras, external speakers/mics, etc.)

Event and Obeya Coordination:

Coordination and arrangement of event logistics such as location reservations and refreshments for participants

Checking that location supports Wi Fi, GPS and SXM radio (if needed)

Support both internal and external events by communicating with stakeholders

Manage and control lab accesses based on the requests.

Tools: MS office tools, Jira, Confluence
