Job Title:             Lab Technician

Duration:            12+ months

Address:             Sparks, MD 21152

Shift timing:       Monday - Thursday (7:00 PM – 5:00 AM)

Job Overview:

  • Help make and assemble clinical and commercial products.

  • Clean lab tools and glassware.

  • Build panels and prepare bottles.

  • Use machines like glass washers, dryers, and autoclaves.

  • Create label files using templates.

  • Help remove and throw away chemical waste safely.

  • Make solutions, powders, and liquids following set instructions.

  • Train new employees or help with new procedures.

  • Follow all safety and cleanliness rules (Good Manufacturing Practices).

  • Work overtime when needed.

  • Do other tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High school degree with technical certification in the area of laboratory operations plus 1 year laboratory experience, AS degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year laboratory experience, or BS degree in a scientific discipline

  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and good at managing time.

  • Able to read, write, and understand simple charts and diagrams.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Good at using Microsoft Excel.
