You’ll commonly interact with a mix of recreational and competitive players, using advanced club fitting technology, performing precise measurements, and sometimes assembling or adjusting clubs on-site. Collaboration with other fitters, sales staff, or even professional coaches is frequent, especially in larger golf facilities or specialty stores. This dynamic environment provides the chance to help clients discover solutions that improve their game while advancing your technical and interpersonal skills.

To thrive as a Lab Golf professional—such as a club fitter, club builder, or product tester specializing in golf equipment—requires deep knowledge of golf mechanics, strong analytical skills, and often experience with custom fitting or equipment manufacturing. Familiarity with launch monitors, club fitting systems, and specialized golf fitting software or tools is often essential, along with relevant certifications from professional golf equipment organizations. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and strong communication set standout professionals apart in this role. These competencies ensure accurate equipment recommendations and exceptional client experiences, directly impacting player performance and satisfaction.
