Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty care providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.
Position Information:
Lee Physician Group - Infectious Disease is seeking a full-time, fellowship trained Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join their busy practice. This practice will be a mix of both inpatient and outpatient work with a weekend call rotation of 1:4. With a convenient office location right inside of HealthPark Medical Center, access to lab and other diagnostics is extremely convenient. Furthermore, our comprehensive health system has a large ambulatory infusion center, complex/transitional care unit for on-going patient follow-up, wound care clinic as well as several other complimentary services.
This physician should be a generalist in the field of infectious disease but any additional interest in mycobacterium would be beneficial. There is also an opportunity to work with our residents for the right candidate interested in training.
Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus but not required
