Job Title: Delivery Manager or Project Manager (From Pharma / GxP / R&D environment)

Mandatory Skills: Delivery Orchestrator / Project Manager from Pharma / GxP / R&D environment

Must Have Experience:
  1. The Empower Senior Delivery Orchestrator / Project Manager will be responsible for the successful and smooth migration of MRL business areas to our new Empower chromatography data system platform supporting hundreds of scientists who rely on the solution to conduct their scientific research in GxP and non GxP environments.
  2. Support large-scale software platform upgrade migration planning (target: migrating >500 DSCS users and >1,000 instruments), including training schedules, lab migration plans, and post go-live follow-ups.
  3. Server as main contact point for MRL business area SMEs during the upgrade and collect key instrument information needed for the upgrade (firmware versions, instrument models, locations)
  4. Develop, maintain, and communicate the lab migration plan with Client Empower technical, Empower deployment, and LAMP teams
  5. Ensure lab migrations are delivered according to the migration plan
  6. Maintain stakeholder alignment, record decisions, and elevate governance issues as needed
Required skills/experience:
  • 5+ years experience managing deployment of scientific software platforms
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale software upgrade projects in the pharmaceutical R&D space
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and analytical instrumentation (chromatography instrumentation experience is a plus) in the pharmaceutical R&D space
  • Experience with GxP/regulatory considerations relevant to systems supporting lab data (e.g., knowledge of controlled access, audit trails, validated processes).
  • Hands-on experience working with analytical data acquisition software upgrade projects (requirements gathering, data mapping, stakeholder coordination).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to explain technical configuration decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing support channels and prioritizing requests across a large user base.
  • Proven success producing user documentation and training materials, conducting 1:1 and group training sessions

Direct experience with Empower CDS software is preferred.
