Job Summary
The Lab Courier is responsible for all deliveries and pickup of medical specimens, test results, images, etc., among the hospital, medical office, laboratories, and other designated locations. The Lab Courier will maintain accurate trip logs, and all paperwork related to the job. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, safe driver who can offer great customer service.
Essential Functions:
  • Delivers and picks up products from customers in clinics and hospitals by traveling between facilities
  • Ensures good customer relations by establishing a scheduled route for delivery and pick up promptly
  • Maintain a clean van/truck by removing trash and debris
  • Completes daily checklist to ensure van and equipment are in working order and reports any malfunction of the vehicle to management
  • Assist the department during periods of increased activity and/or when staff shortages occur
  • Other duties as assigned

Licensing/Certification
  • Valid state Driver's License (required)

Education
  • High School/GED (required)

Work Experience
  • Previous courier experience (preferred)

Range:
Minimum: $16.32
Maximum: $23.15
