As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be a key member of a high-functioning cardiovascular team, assisting in life-saving procedures and advancing patient care during critical moments. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and Cath Lab team members during a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
  • Perform scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in all Cath Lab procedure.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessments; promptly communicate any patient condition changes to nursing or medical staff.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient and procedure.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
  • Prioritize tasks in high-acuity situations and respond confidently to cardiovascular emergencies as they relate to technologist specifications.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required:
    • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
    • Completion of Basic EKG course.
    • ARRT certification in Radiography.
    • Arizona CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license.
  • Preferred:
    • ARRT (R)(CI) certification - Radiography with Cardiac Interventional credential.

Experience

  • Required:
    • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
  • Preferred:
    • 1 year of hands-on Cath Lab experience.

Certifications

  • Required:
    • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification-must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
