Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirement
  • High school diploma or GED with industry-related laboratory experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree with industry or academic laboratory experience.
Required Experience & Skills
  • 1+ year of laboratory experience.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete assigned work within assigned area.
  • Recognizes problems and follows established procedures to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Able to complete tasks within established timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple levels.
  • Experience working in an aseptic cleanroom environment preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and unit conversions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Schedule
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule to support manufacturing operations, including overtime, weekends, and holidays. Shift assignments rotate based on business needs.
Available shifts include:
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • 4th Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
On average, employees will work two adjacent shifts each week. Flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
Join a Manufacturing Operations team responsible for producing high-quality biotechnology products in a regulated manufacturing environment. Team members work with a Safety First, Quality Always mindset while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company safety policies.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, including floors, walls, tables, and equipment.
  • Prepare, clean, and sterilize glassware and production equipment.
  • Assist with equipment setup and operation.
  • Support aseptic manufacturing activities, including:
    • Product formulation
    • Filling equipment setup and operation
    • Environmental monitoring
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including charts, logbooks, batch records, and other required records.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices and maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform formulation, filling, labeling, capping, packaging, and visual inspection of products.
  • Assist in training new team members.
  • Report unusual or non-routine events to supervision.
  • Handle, label, and manage hazardous waste when appropriately trained.
  • Support non-aseptic production activities, including handling poultry during tissue or waste harvesting processes.
  • Assist with reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Review production records and enter technical data into required systems.
  • Attend required training, workshops, and meetings to maintain and improve job knowledge.
  • Monitor laboratory supply inventory and assist with ordering materials.
Work Environment
This position supports biotechnology manufacturing operations in a regulated production environment where strict adherence to GMP, safety procedures, documentation practices, and quality standards is required. Candidates should be comfortable working in laboratory and manufacturing settings while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following aseptic techniques when applicable.
