💼 Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN for a high-volume, 5-room cardiac cath lab at a Magnet-designated Level I trauma center. This role involves both diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment.
🫀 Responsibilities
Circulate and assist in cardiac cath lab procedures:
Diagnostic & interventional catheterizations
Left & right heart caths
Swan-Ganz / PA line monitoring
Monitor and administer procedural sedation
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
Collaborate with cardiology and procedural teams
Maintain patient safety and sterile environment
✅ Requirements
Minimum 1 year Cath Lab RN experience
Interventional Cath Lab experience required
ACLS & BLS required (AHA or Red Cross only)
Active Illinois RN license required at submission
Cerner experience required
📅 Additional Details
First-time travelers accepted
Call required
2–3 weekends per contract
Floating required within scope
Patient population: Adults & Geriatrics
Average daily census: 25
5 procedure rooms

Must have IL license in hand at submission
Max 5 days RTO preferred
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
