Job description

Job Summary (List Format):
- Work location must be outside a 50-mile radius (no local candidates).
- Night shift schedule: 10:00 PM โ€“ 6:30 AM.
- 13-week assignment in the 702A Clinical Lab as a Lab Assistant.
- Minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience required in laboratory specialty.
- Phlebotomy certification required.
- Responsible for handling laboratory data collection systems and equipment.
- Ensures proper ordering, cancellation, and charging of laboratory test requests for all patient types (inpatient, outpatient, institutional accounts).
- Performs specimen collection procedures for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Conducts non-technical specimen processing, preparation, and distribution.
- Ensures accurate and timely handling of patient specimens according to established protocols.
