Seeking a Tampa-based phlebotomist with pediatric experience or 1+ year of high-volume active draws (10+ sticks/day), confident with difficult veins and infant collections, and able to maintain a calm, steady demeanor.Facility: St Josephs Med Arts Building

Responsibilities:
The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for:
  • Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
  • Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
  • Referring specimens to outside laboratories
  • Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests
  • Performance of phlebotomy procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
