Job Summary/Basic Function
Applied Engineering, Safety, and Technology is seeking a student to provide a variety of tasks:
1. Office Assistant - $9.00
2. Lab Assistant - $9.00
3. Student Driver - $9.00
4. Tutor - $10.00
5. Research or Grant Assistant - varies
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of three background checks.
- Safe handling of specialized equipment and/or chemicals.
- Willingness to perform varied duties.
- Student drivers must have a valid driver's license and complete MVR background check through Hire Right.
- Tutors must be recommend by faculty and must complete the 3 required clearances
- PA State Criminal
- Child Abuse
- FBI Fingerprint
Preferred Qualifications
Job Duties
Task may include but are not limited to:
1. Office Assistant
- copying, filing, sorting mail, other duties as assigned
2. Lab Assistant
- assisting faculty, cleanup, setup, other duties as assigned
3. Student Driver
- driving university vehicles to transport students
4. Tutor
- contacting tutees and arranging tutoring sessions, tutoring
5. Research or Grant Assistan
- assisting faculty with research or grant tasks as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
1. Office Assistant
- Be able to sit/stand and use a computer/equipment for the length of shift.
- Ability to carry packages.
2. Lab Assistant
