Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Laboratory Services, provides administrative and technical leadership for Core Laboratory Services that includes; Chemistry, Hematology, and Coagulation. Develops and administers policies and procedures in cooperation with the Operations Manager, Laboratory Services to ensure the delivery of efficient and quality laboratory services.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited school.

Experience
Minimum five years previous experience working in Core (chemistry/hematology/urinalysis/Point of Care) laboratory.

Licensure and/or Certification
MT (ASCP or AMT)

Skills
Proven managerial skills.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated knowledge in the field of laboratory medicine, and of laboratory tests available.
Effective skills to bring all technical, patient service, personnel problems or other operational issues to positive resolution.
Demonstrated knowledge in the field of laboratory medicine and in all applicable regulations pertinent to laboratory licensure and accreditation.
