We are currently seeking a Specimen Processor/Accessioner and the position will be located in our main facility in North Kingstown, RI.
Schedule : Full Time, Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Requirements
Responsibilities :
Responsible for the receipt and processing of specimens. Enters patient demographic and testing information into the laboratory information system. Examines specimens for adequacy. Labels specimens and prepares aliquots. Delivers specimens to proper laboratory departments for analysis. Assists with other data entry and clerical functions as assigned.
Skills and Abilities :
Requires an ability to focus and an attention to accuracy and detail; must display interpersonal, and diplomacy skills and work well as part of a team; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and see tasks through to completion.
Educational Requirements :
High School Education preferred.
