Description
The automotive lab assistant assists automotive faculty in coordinating day-to-day classroom labs and to ensure safety.
Job Duties
  • Assists automotive faculty in coordinating day-to-day classroom labs and to ensure safety.
  • Prepare and maintain lab equipment and tools for student use, ensuring everything is in proper working order and adheres to safety standards.
  • Organize and assist in the inventory of supplies.
  • Support instructors during lab sessions by demonstrating techniques, helping students operate equipment, and providing guidance on safe practices.
  • Monitor lab activities to ensure students adhere to safety procedures, properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications
  • Automotive experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check, have valid U.S Driver's license and good driving record.

Physical Demands
  • The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
