Description
Under general supervision, assists faculty members with classroom/lab instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures, tracking attendance and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction as assigned. Prior to class prepares classroom/lab in accordance to lab manuals and/or faculty members. Assist with facilitating lab activities. Cleans classroom/lab in accordance to program policies.

  • Active EMT or higher certification
  • Active AHA BLS certification

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • Active AHA BLS Instructor certification
  • At least one EMS "specialty" instructor certification (ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, etc.)
  • Level I Instructor certifications (either North Carolina or NAEMSE)
  • 3-5 years EMS field experience
