To succeed as a Lab Assistant II, you need a solid background in laboratory techniques, specimen handling, and safety protocols, often supported by a high school diploma or associate degree in a science-related field. Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS), centrifuges, microscopes, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is typically required.
