Cath Lab/IR Tech - 10 Hour Days

Location: Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00). Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month. On-call availability is required, with a guarantee of 2-hour call-back.

Job Description: The Cath Lab/IR Tech will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures in both the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in handling cardiovascular interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform elective catheterizations, including both diagnostic and interventions.
  • Participate in emergency response for STEMI call, ensuring timely activation and support.
  • Maintain a sterile field and assist in procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, AICD insertions, and pacemaker insertions.
  • Coordinate care effectively within the interdisciplinary team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • ARRT certification required; RCIS acceptable with experience in Cath Lab and IR.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cath Lab or IR environment.
  • Must be nicotine-free due to facility policies.
