Job description

Reports to: Instructors / Assistant Principal 
General:

Our lab assistants support our instructors in running a safe and effective lab. We are currently looking for a lab assistant in the following program:

  • Construction

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with practicing their skills and reaching competency.
  • Assist with lab procedures and safety.
  • Review projects and instructions with students in smaller groups as needed.
  • Provide feedback on students to teachers, student services counselor, career counselor and administration as needed.
  • Support the lab by organizing and moving supplies and/or equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Certification and experience in the field of the program you are applying for.
  • Paraprofessional educator endorsed or eligible to obtain Paraprofessional educator endorsement from www.isbe.net.
  • Bilingual; helpful but not required

    Salary:

  • Hourly Rate: $30 / Hour
  • Benefits NOT Included (Part-time role)
