Job description

RN – Labor & Delivery (Contract)

Location: Clearlake, Ca
Duration: 13 Weeks (with option to extend)
Pay: $77.50/hour


Schedule

Primarily Nights, but on occasion Day shift may need help with coverage. 1800 - 0630 (nights). 36 or 48 hours per week are ok.


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Provide Labor & Delivery nursing care using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)

  • Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patient care

  • Support Level 1 Trauma and Level 3 Perinatal patient population

  • Monitor maternal/fetal status and respond to clinical changes

  • Administer medications and assist with labor management/interventions

  • Collaborate with OB providers and interdisciplinary team

  • Document care accurately in Cerner EMR


Requirements
  • Experience:

    • Labor & Delivery experience – Required

    • 3 years L&D experience

  • Licensure/Certifications:

    • Active CA RN License – Required

    • BLS – Required

    • ACLS/NRP – Typically required in L&D settings
