The Department of Neurology at Loyola Medicine is committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research. Our faculty includes nationally recognized experts across a broad range of neurological subspecialties, creating exceptional opportunities for clinical training, mentorship, academic collaboration, and professional growth.

The department provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient neurological care, with specialized programs in movement disorders, stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology, memory disorders, neuromuscular diseases, headache medicine, sleep medicine, and pediatric neurology. Physicians benefit from a rich clinical environment that includes a dedicated Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, stroke unit, epilepsy monitoring program, multidisciplinary consultation services, and neurological emergency care.

As a major academic department within Loyola Medicine, we foster a collaborative and innovative culture where clinicians, educators, and researchers work together to advance neurological care, train the next generation of neurologists, and improve outcomes for patients.
