Job Description We are in search of a Payroll Clerk to join our team in Modesto, California. In this role, you will be handling payroll processing tasks within a food manufacturing setting. The role offers a long‐term contract employment opportunity where you will work on‐site, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Administer and process company payroll in a timely manner. Utilize Kronos time‐keeping software for accurate tracking of worker hours. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and procedures. Safeguard confidentiality and security of all payroll documents. Maintain meticulous records and documentation for each payroll processed. Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly. Provide payroll information as requested. Assist with payroll accounting and tax‐related tasks when necessary. Use Microsoft Excel for various payroll tasks. Utilize bilingual skills in Spanish to communicate with diverse team members. Proficiency in the Kronos Timekeeping System is required. Demonstrable expertise in various Payroll Functions. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of the Manufacturing industry is desirable. Spanish Language skills are advantageous. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent organization and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. High School Diploma or equivalent.
