Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking Production Associates for our Elk Grove Village and Glendale Heights location. As a Production Associate you would be responsible for completing assigned tasks and duties in the assigned department. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN MOTIVATED WORKERS!!

What you are going to be doing…

  • Advocate and work safely and follow all safety rules
  • Maintain good housekeeping and follow all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Report any issue found with equipment, materials, and/or finished products, including foreign objects
  • Assemble, set-up, break-down, and inspect all equipment in the assigned area
  • Operate equipment and machines; handles/moves product through the manufacturing process
  • Measure, add, grind, and/or mix ingredients and other raw materials
  • Work independently with limited supervision
  • Responsible for the quality, sanitation, and line performance of each line
  • Perform all duties required to produce a good quality product included, but not limited to, quality checks, equipment set-up, maintain operational parameters, and equipment performance
  • Report any and all safety concerns
  • Perform all duties necessary to meet third party audit requirements as well as other standards prioritized by the company, to include SQF, HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA, etc.
  • Utilize tools and equipment required for each task, including pallet jack 
  • Report on and track productivity using computers, iPads, or other technology
  • Any and all other duties, as assigned

 

What you need to have…

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing plant or equivalent preferred
  • Experience operating machinery desired 

Work environment and physical requirements…

Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer. The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting. Incumbents are frequently required stand, walk, hear, bend, stoop, climbing, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, pull lifting to 50lbs, and push unassisted.

Target Pay Rate:

  • Skilled Labor:       $17.50-$19.00/hour
  • Shift Differentials:$1.00 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift.
